How to book an apartment

  • Contact us to let us know your rental dates and which apartment or bedroom you are interested in.

The booking procedure for an apartment or bedroom

To secure a bedroom or apartment, we require the following information from you (or from all tenants if you are booking an entire apartment) to draft the booking contract:

– A copy of your identity card or passport (a clear photo taken with a phone is acceptable).
– Your mother’s maiden name (her full name before marriage), as required by Hungarian law for inclusion in the rental agreement.
– Your date and country of birth, if not already shown on the provided ID.

 

Booking Confirmation:

  • Once we receive the documents, the bedroom or apartment will be locked for 5 days, giving you time to complete the next steps of the booking process.
  • You will need to sign and return the rental agreement, and complete the payment of the first month’s rent via bank transfer to the owner. This process will secure the apartment for you. In case of cancellation on your side, the first month’s rent will not be refunded.
  • After the booking is finalized, you will stay in touch with our team and schedule a meeting for the key handover on your arrival day.

 

Contract Signature and Occupancy

Security Deposit
The security deposit must be paid on the day of arrival. It is intended to cover any potential damages and will be fully refunded at departure, provided the apartment is returned in its original condition.
The deposit can be paid either in cash upon arrival or by bank transfer on the day of check-in.

Key Handover and Move-In
You will take possession of the apartment during the key handover.

 

 

 

Cleaning at departure :

To ensure the property is professionally cleaned upon departure, we hire a private cleaning company. This service costs €45 per tenant and is mandatory (it will be mention in the rental agreement).

We have implemented this policy because cleaning is often a sensitive issue—when not done properly, it requires us to call a cleaning company at the last minute, which cost more management and more cleaning fee that as to be taken from deposit. By arranging professional cleaning in advance, we avoid complications for both parties, save time, and ensure a smooth handover process.
